the funny thing about going away and maintaining a relationship while you're gone is that it ends up garnering some pretty big expectations for when you get back. because you know that you'll have the honeymoon stage for awhile, and that's all well and good. and you figure that if you've been apart for so long, then of course things will be wonderful! but all you think about is just being back with that person. not necessarily what you'll be doing or how life will be continuing. you just can't think that far ahead. so i sincerely hope the best for everything. but considering the fact that i'll be going back to start things from scratch (ie: have to find a job, finish the last semester of school before graduation, figure out what to do with everything after that point, etc) i can't help but worry a little.

but he's awesome. and we're awesome. so i'm sure things will be just dandy.
